Media Studies at Trinity Catholic College
You are all experts on the media. You watch TV, you listen to the radio, you read newspapers and magazines, you go to the cinema, you download material to your laptops and mobile phones. But how much do you know about the people behind the media products? Do you really know how to ‘read’ a film? Would you like to have a go at making your own media products? Then Media Studies should be a subject you consider studying.
To study AS Media Studies it is recommended that you have a GCSE grade C or above in English due to the analytical nature of the course. If you studied Media Studies at GCSE you need a grade C or above. Please note that the entry requirements for an AS programme depend upon the number of courses that you intend to take in total.
