Course description

Enjoy creating computer programs, websites and smartphone apps? Then this is the course for you. We’ll enable you to combine your creative ideas with the latest technology and generate multimedia applications for use in the real world.
 
The focus of this course is to give you the skills and knowledge on a variety of programming languages enabling you to get a good job and career in computer programming. You will gain real experience undertaking real projects using current industry standard programming software on Macs and PC’s.
 
Students who complete this course will be ideally placed to pursue a career in programming and multimedia digital fields.

      By Road: 
      The Middleton Campus is two miles from junction 20 on the M62. Take the A627(M) towards Oldham and leave at first junction and follow signs to Middleton.
      By Rail: 
      The Castleton rail station is 2 miles from the Middleton campus, and takes around ten minutes to reach by bus.
      By Bus: 
      The No. 17 bus service runs frequent between Rochdale and Manchester approximately every ten minutes and stops at the entrance to the Middleton Campus.
