City & Guilds Award in Employability and Personal Development (Entry 3) (QCF) *Fees Payable* at Martec Training

Course description

This qualification is completed by every learner (aged 16 - 19) that starts at Martec training. It is completed during the 6 week initial assessment period while we look at what you want to do next. You will come into centre 2 days a week.This course has been designed to help you gain the knowledge, understanding and skills you need to enter employment whilst gaining a nationally-recognised qualification.It will help with the development of your functional skills in English, Mathematics and ICT and you will learn a range of skills and techniques, personal qualities and attitudes essential for successful performance in working life.You will be learning things such as :- how to look after yourself, what qualities are needed to be successful in the work place such as timekeeping, attendance and following instructions and health and safety in the work place.

Entry requirements

This course is available to all 16 - 19 year olds but the learner MUST commence the course at least 6 months prior to his/ her 19th birthday.

Future opportunities
