Theatre Studies A Level at Paulet 6th Form College

Course description

This practical, engaging and creative course has been designed to offer students the freedom to experiment and take risks with their work while working on developing their own style.

Students will have the opportunity to go and see live theatre productions that are relevant and contemporary. They will analyse, evaluate and interrogate this art form and develop the skills necessary to devise their own drama performances.

Students who complete this course will have developed their analytical and creative skills to pursue drama at university. They will develop transferable skills such as critical thinking, effective decision making, communication and presentational skills which are desirable in any employment area.
