Airline Cabin Crew City and Guilds Level 2 Certificate at Exeter College

Course description

This course is taught alongside the BTEC Level 3 Diploma/Extended Diploma Travel and Tourism (Flybe Academy route) with students attending the Flybe Academy two days per week as part of their main BTEC programme.

It is ideal if you want to find employment as airline cabin crew or if you wish to enhance the skills required to work within the travel and tourism industry.
You will learn about the role of cabin crew on board and familiarise yourself with emergency procedures and equipment used. You will also develop practical
skills on how to deal with first aid incidents on board.

The course will help you write applications, letters and update your CV enabling you to apply for airline jobs. You can also take part in practical activities including water life saving, airline fire fighting, jumping down the emergency slides and opening and closing of aircraft doors.

The qualification is recognised by Flybe and prepares you for entry to the airline industry. Candidates who achieve the award have an increased chance of
interview and selection with multiple airlines across the UK and Europe.
