Psychology A Level at Tyne Metropolitan College

Course description

Psychology is the scientific study of human behaviour.

You will look at different explanations for the way in which humans (and non-humans) behave.

You will also spend time analysing evidence and theories and comparing research in order to be able to reach conclusions about a variety of topics including mental illness and relationships.

You’ll look at how ideas and theories in each area of Psychology have developed, learn how to critically analyse evidence, and undertake some practical research.
