Course description

The next step up from Level 2 involves more detailed units and specialist knowledge. Some examples of units include Auditing stock, Credit and Hire facilities, Solving customer service problems and Planning staff levels. This qualification will allow candidates to apply knowledge, understanding and skills to a level recognised by employers, thus proving competency in their job role. The qualification is generally aimed at those working at a supervisory level as to cover all the relevant units. This qualification has three different routes that can be taken, Management, Visual Merchandiser or Sales Professional. The course is work based which means you can earn and learn at the same time whilst developing the skills, understanding and knowledge that many employers in the food and drink sectors are looking for. This qualification is made up of a National Vocational Qualification (NVQ)  Level 3 Diploma in Retail Skills ( Sales Professional)Technical Certificate and Functional Skills English Level 2 Maths Level 2  (if applicable).

Entry requirements



Assessemnt takes place through evaluation of workplace performance, presenting evidence, witness testimony and questioning. A portfolio of evidence is produced which demonstrates that the candidate can perform to the level described. Participants will have  a Training Assessor who will hewlp assemble the portfolio and prepare for assessment.
