Customer Service Apprenticeship Level 3 (TTG) at The College of Haringey, Enfield and North East London

Course description

You will be able to further develop and refine your customer skills for use in a variety of working environments. You will spend one day a week in College building up your skills and developing your portfolios and four days a week with your employer. Whilst at College and in work you will further develop areas including: meeting and greeting visitors, record keeping, problem solving, dealing with customers, service delivery

Course content

The apprenticeship will be delivered on a "day release" basis. This means that you will be with your employer for most of the week, but for one day a week you will come to College (during term time) for a day of both vocational and skills based training. This will enable you to develop skills you will need to demonstrate in the work place as part of your NVQ. The day at College is likely to be from 9am to 5pm.

Entry requirements

You will need to be 16 or older, with maths and English skills.

Assessment

The apprenticeship consists of several parts, each assessed in their own way. NVQ - portfolio building showing evidence of what you know, understand and can do. This is largely completed in your workplace and is your responsibility to build up over the course of the apprenticeship. EMPLOYER RIGHTS & RESPONSIBILITIES - successful completion of a workbook. TECHNICAL CERTIFICATE - pass an exam. KEY / FUNCTIONAL SKILLS IN ENGLISH & MATHS - achieve the examination / portfolio assessments for each skill at the required level.

More highly skilled and demanding employment. Your employer may wish you to move onto other courses within the College.
