Tourism Level 2 Diploma at Warwickshire College Group

Course description

You will study a wide range of travel and tourism subjects together with a customer service qualification that will give you a solid knowledge base of the the industry.

There will be a mandatory requirement to attend the National Citizenship Studies program for two weeks within the College Year,  there will be a charge of circa £25 that will be payable to NCS for this provision.  

Course content

You will study a range of units that will include the following topics:

  •  Interpersonal Skills
  •  Worldwide Travel and Tourism Destinations
  •  UK Travel and Tourism Destinations
  •  Visitor Attractions
  •  Promotional Activities in Travel and Tourism
  •  Resort Representatives
  •  Business Travel Planning
  •  Activity Tourism in the UK
  •  Air Fares and Ticketing

Entry requirements

4 GCSEs at grade 4 or D, or a merit or above in a Level 1 Foundation Diploma.  Alternative relevant qualifications will also be considered.


You will be assessed throughout the course using externally set assignments which will then be marked and externally moderated.

Future opportunities

If you achieve a merit in the course, you can progress to the Level 3 Travel and Tourism course or you would be able to progress on to the Level 2 Diploma in Cabin Crew.
