BTEC Level 2 First Diploma in Business at The Frances Bardsley Academy for Girls

Course description

The BTEC course puts more emphasis on skills, independent learning and research-based students. A BTEC Level 2 Diploma is a practical, specialist work-related course. You will learn by completing projects and assignments that are based on realistic workplace situations, activities and demands.  You will have to do independent research and collect your own information for this purpose. In your BTEC course, similar to GCSE, you will need to develop your analytical and evaluation skills.  Therefore you will not only have to describe Business Studies knowledge, but also to analyse and draw critical judgements.

This is a one-year course. You will also re-sit GCSE English Language and Maths as well as taking GCSE Psychology
