History at Sexey's School

Course description

The course will be taught in a variety ways including the use of seminars, original documents, secondary texts and film. Students should be prepared to read, discuss and challenge the ideas presented to them.The course deliberately includes the study of a wide range of modern History: British, European, and World. The course also allows students to complete coursework on African American Civil Rights. Within this students can choose a focus of their own choice. Topics could range widely including areas such as the Johnson Administration, role of Martin Luther King and significance of the 1960s.
