BTEC Level 3 Art & Design Subsidiary Diploma at Chobham Academy

Course description

This course will equip you with an understanding of a range of creative practices and enables you to develop your skills further. Specialist pathways support the continued development and investigation of areas including Printmaking, Graphic Design, and Fine Art (Painting, Sculpture and Media), Photography, Textiles, Fashion and 3D Design. You will be encouraged to find your own methods of expression through a series of individually motivated and innovative projects, culminating in a large scale exhibition. Equally, you will be asked to consider the professional and vocational aspects of their studies through the completion of a Professional Practice unit.

BTEC Level 3 Art & Design Subsidiary Diploma extends specialist work-related focus and covers the key knowledge and practical skills required in the appropriate vocational sector. It offers greater flexibility and a choice of emphasis through the units. It is broadly equivalent to one GCE A Level.
