Course description

If you are employed in the fabrication and welding industry and want an advanced apprenticeship then this is the programme for you.

Course content

You will choose one of five routeways: ENG0069P - Engineering Maintenance ENG0071P - Mechanical Manufacturing ENG0072P - Technical Support ENG0081P - Electrical and Electronic Programme Engineering ENG0070P - Fabrication and Welding You will study higher level engineering theory and explore units that cover planned and preventative maintenance approach. Ideal if you are employed in a mechanical, manufacturing, electrical, electronic engineering or a welding and fabrication role and you would like to gain a higher level qualification.

Entry requirements

You should have a relevant Level 2 qualification and be employed in the industry.

Assessment

The 2800 technical certificate will be assessed by a number of online examinations, written tests and practical assessments.

Future opportunities

Progression onto a higher national Certificate.
