Biology (AS/A2) at The Bewdley School and Sixth form Centre

Course description

The biological sciences have led to so many advances in our society today. Many diseases have been eradicated while others are now curable. New crops have been developed that grow more successfully and help to feed the world. There are controversies too: e.g. about genetically modified crops and cloning. It is important that we understand the issues and that we are well enough informed to make reasoned decisions.
