This course is designed for young people who have previously studied GCSE Mathematics and achieved a grade D
Subject Content & Assessment
Edexcel linear GCES Maths foundation where a grade C can be achieved. The purpose of this course is to enable students who earned a grade D to raise it to a grade C
Grade D at GCSE.
The class is small, the rate of work is high, with the expectation that students will spend at least the same amount of time on homework as they spend in the classroom.
The focus is on revision and exam style questions. This course covers the same material as the GCSE Maths course studied in years 10 and 11 and is condensed to fit into two-and-a-half terms.
Grade C or above in Mathematics is often a requirement made by employers, Colleges and Universities
