Course description

For students who want to study a course which provides an opportunity for practical work as well as classwork. All students will be presented with the opportunity to gain a broad understanding of the sports industry and be able to study selected areas in more depth.

OPPORTUNITIES

Students will also acquire confidence through developing independent learning skills and key skills, which are highly valued by employers and universities. Students will be presented with the opportunity to apply learning in a practical and realistic way. The course provides access to a wide range of possible career and higher education opportunities. In terms of employment it provides the opportunity to pursue further training in areas such as Sports coaching, PE teaching, Recreational Management and Civil Service.

Normal Sixth Form entry requirements (5 or more A*-C grade passes at GCSE including English Language and Mathematics)
