Engineering Level 2 Diploma at Walsall College

Course description

This qualification is for anyone looking to enter the engineering industry and learn practical, hand-on skills alongside design and theory related to the industry. You will study a broad spectrum of skills such as fabrication, welding, milling, fitting, CAD, turning and electrical wiring.

Entry requirements

It is expected that a student will have completed a Level 1 qualification previously in Engineering or a related subject. All applications will be subject to an interview and a diagnostic assessment of maths and English.

Assessment

A combination of practical assessments, written assignments and online tests.

Future opportunities

Students who complete this course could move onto the C&G 2850 Level 3, the BTEC Level 3 or into an apprenticeship.
