Diploma in Music, Performing & Production Arts (Music Technology) Level 1 at Ashford College

Course description

The course provides students with excellent access to digital music composition suites, commercial recording studio and prestigious partner live music venue. You will work with supportive and inspirational staff, who are all active professionals in the music industry and Apple certified Logic Pro users. They will work closely with you to ensure that you develop the technical ability, personal skills and confidence to be able to progress to intermediate level courses, such as Level 2 Music Technology.

Entry requirements

You will need four GCSEs at Grades D-G/3-1, including English and maths at minimum Grade E/2. You will be required to attend an interview to
demonstrate your suitability for this course. You will also need a positive recommendation or reference from your school/tutor.

Future opportunities

Progress on to a higher level course, such as the Level 2 Diploma in Music Performance and Production, as long as you meet all other course
entry requirements.
