Business Administration Apprenticeship Intermediate Level 2 at A4E

Course description

A Business Administration Apprenticeship will give you the knowledge and understanding needed to work within a business environment. The qualifiaction will be delivered at your place of work and your assessor will visit regulary to support you. You will undertake mandatory elements which will include communication in a business environment, the principles of providing administrative services, principles of business document production and developing your own performance. Your assessor will work with you and your employer to choose the rest of the content of your qualification ensuring they are relevent to your role within the organisation.  You will also complete functional skills in English Maths and ICT if you required.

Course content

The Qualification combines competency and knowledge, it is a work-based and  gives you the practical competencies, technical skills and sector-related knowledge to be able to carry out a job effectively. The qualification is built by completing mandatory units and by selecting appropriate optional units relevent to your role. Each unit has a credit value and you will have to achieve a set number of credits to complete the qualification.  You will also complete Maths, English and ICT to level 1 if you have achieved less than a Grade C in Maths and English

Entry requirements

There are no prior knowledge, understanding, skills or qualifications that are required before being able to register for this qualification. You must be employed as an apprentice and any one with less that Grade C in Maths and English will be required to undertake functional skills
