What will I learn on this course?

On this course one unit will cover the impact of IT on society and basic concepts behind the internet, networks and computers. The other unit involves developing solutions to common IT problems.

How will I be assessed?

Both the AS units are assessed by external exam lasting 90 minutes each. Both exams are standard questions paper/answer booklet examinations, externally marked by AQA. At A2 unit 3 is a question paper/answer booklet examination externally marked by AQA and worth 60%. Section A: structured questions based on pre-release material. Section B: questions requiring extended prose answers. All questions are compulsory.
