Health And Social Care (QCF) Level 3 Diploma at Aspect Training Limited

Course description

The Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care is aimed at senior care workers wanting to develop or even demonstrate their skills. Aspiring staff can also undertake the diploma to prepare them for promotion at a later date. The course is CQC recognised.

On this flexible 9 month course, you will be guided through a range of workshops by experienced and qualified assessors. These workshops are based in Sheffield, Chesterfield, Rotherham and surrounding areas and are aimed at meeting individual students' needs. The course is made up of mandatory and optional units, assignments, and workplace observations.

Entry requirements

The following are required:

  • at least 18 years of age
  • a caring and supportive approach to working with others
  • working in an appropriate care setting as a senior care worker or have supervisory responsibilities


An allocated assessor will guide you through the diploma and assess your work practice through workplace observations and knowledge workshops. Workshops are usually done on a one-to-one basis but at certain times of the year, there are opportunities to join group and classroom sessions.

Future opportunities

On successful completion of this course, there are opportunities to progress onto the Level 4 Diploma in Adult Care, the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care, a Foundation Degree in Health and Social Care and other professional courses in social work and nursing.
