Future opportunities

After studying the physics A-level students often move into higher education to read various degrees, often in the science or mathematical fields. Physics qualifications can lead onto varied and high paying careers in many scientific fields such as military research, electrical industry, engineering, nuclear industry, astrophysics, medical physics, aeronautical engineering etc. Physicists are also highly valued in the fields of accountancy, finance, marketing, journalism and teaching. To maximise your chances of getting into the best universities you should combine Physics with two other science-based subjects (such as Chemistry, Biology and especially Mathematics).
