Photography (Level 2) Diploma at Tresham College of Further and Higher Education
This exciting course introduces you to new ideas about digital photography, traditional filmbased photography, image manipulation and the history and development of photography. You will create an individual portfolio of work that will help you to progress onto a Level 3 study programme.
You will develop skills in digital and traditional film-based photography, working in the studio and the darkroom to develop your creativity
A minimum of four GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade D or above including English and preferably maths, OR a Level 1 in Art and Design with a positive reference and equivalent qualifications in English and maths.
Continuous assessment takes place throughout the course.
You will be expected to buy your own drawing materials (drawing pads, sketchbooks, pens, pencils etc) as well as photography consumables such as film and photographic paper. You will also be expected to contribute towards the cost of two or three trips during the course, approx. £15 each.
Level 3 study programmes in Photography, Graphic Design, Fashion, Media or Art and Design.
