Music at Hastingsbury Business and Enterprise College

Course description

The course allows students to study Music in an integrated way with the opportunity to specialise at A level. It allows students to study Music as a practical, intellectual and creative subject with specialist pathways in performing and composing. It recognises that we all live in an age of cultural diversity and the areas of study cover a wider range of music: classical, world, popular and jazz. Each area is seen within a broader cultural and historical context.

  • Entry requirements

    Minimum of 5 GCSE passes atA*-C from at least 4 different subjects. Students should have grade B in Music GCSE and a grade V Trinity Guildhall.ABRSM certificate in at least one instrument.
