BTEC National Certificate in Music at Queen Elizabeth School

Course description

The music industry is one of the world's largest industries. This extensive course if for musicians who want to extend their practical skills, experiment with advanced production and recording techniques and develop an understanding of improvisation. You will also apply influences from world music, explore the sound and music industry, appreciate political and social aspects through music and organise music events. You will complete 12 units that develop practical skills and theoretical understanding and the qualification is equivalent to two A-Levels.

Entry requirements

This course is suitable for dedicated musicians who are confident players and/or singers. You are likely to play the drum kit, keyboard, guitar, bass guitar or sing and have experience of playing in a band or performing music. You are likely to receive
