Music Business Apprenticeship at Big Creative Training LTD

Course description

The UK music sector is recognized as a world leader for pop music as well as a range of specialist genres including hip hop, garage, drum & bass, grime, trap, indie, alternative and many others. As a music business apprentice you need to develop a range of skills to support in the promotion, management and career development of artists and bands. There are many types of companies including label, publishing, distribution, live and indie and a BCAP music business apprenticeship will equip you with the skills to be able to understand and add value in these working environments.


You will learn from tutors and assessors that work in the industry now and are able to teach you cutting edge industry practice and techniques using the latest software available.

As a BCE Music apprentice you will be involved in promoting events including talent from the many artists and producers also developing their craft at BCE.

Course content

Your Apprenticeship Framework is made up of the following components:


  • A Diploma in your vocational subject – Media, Live Events or Music Business
  • A Technical Certificate
  • ICT GCSE A*-C or Functional Skills Level 2*

*(You must achieve Maths & English as a condition of entry onto a BCAP apprenticeship)
