Unit 1: Working as Cabin Crew

Unit 3: Aircraft Emergency Situations
Unit 4: Dealing with Passengers on board an Aircraft
Unit 5: Cabin Service – Selling Techniques
Unit 6: Making Passenger Announcements on board an Aircraft

Attend a 1 day cabin crew training at Monarch Airlines, Luton Airport

NCFE Level 2 Award in Resort Representatives
Unit 1: Investigate Employment Opportunities for Resort Representatives
Unit 2: Understand the Role of a Representative in a Resort
Unit 3: Prepare for the start of the Holiday Season
Unit 4: Manage Airport and Transfer Duties
Unit 5: Investigate the role of the Children’s Representative in a Holiday Resort

Entry requirements

Four GCSEs grade D or above including GCSE English

Assessment

This course is assessed through a range of activities such as projects, presentations, teamwork and practical activities. Assessment is continuous and suited to candidates who prefer this method of assessment to final exams.

Future opportunities

Students who successfully complete this programme will have the opportunity to progress on to the BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Travel and Tourism.  This qualification can then be used to progress on to University or enter a career into the Travel and Tourism Industry, ranging from Travel Agents, Tour Operators, Event organisers, Airlines, Rail, Coach Companies, Hotels, Airports, or other areas such as Sales and Marketing.
