2. Equality, Diversity and Rights in
Health and Social Care
3. Health, Safety and Security in
Health and Social Care
The optional units are chosen to give students the
opportunity to focus on specific areas of care

Entry requirements

• BTEC Level 2 qualification in Health and Social
Care or related subject at merit grade or
equivalent level
• 5 grades A*-C at GCSE level including English
and Mathematics
• Ability to work independently, as well as part
of a group
• An interest in aspects of health and social care
for all ages
