In year 13 you will complete 6 units. They must include Further Pure Mathematics 1 and Further Pure Mathematics 2 followed by four units from the following: Further Pure Mathematics 3, Mechanics 2, Mechanics 3, Probability and Statistics 2, Probability and Statistics 3 or Decision 1.
The topics you will encounter as part of this course are wide and varied, from imaginary numbers and hyperbolic functions in Further Pure modules to forces in elastic strings and springs in Mechanics to the normal distribution and confidence intervals in Probability and Statistics.
