Mathematics A level at Bradford College

Course description

In Year One, you will study three Modules:

Core 1, Core 2 and either Statistics 1 or Mechanics 1.

In Year Two, you will study the following further Modules:

Core 3, Core 4 and one other Module chosen from:

Mechanics 1, Mechanics 2, Statistics 1 or Decision 1.

Course content

You will be given a Scheme of Work for each Unit you are studying. This will help you to organise your studies.

Entry requirements

You should have GCSE Mathematics at Grade B or above at Higher Level and are required to pass an initial assessment.

Assessment

You will be set homework each week and this should be handed to the class lecturer the following week for marking.

Future opportunities

  • Statistics
  • Mechanics.
