Entry requirements

Candidates must be 16 years of age or over on entry with 3 GCSEs grade C or above. To enter this programme you will need to show enthusiasm, commitment and interest in the subject area or have attained a relevant NVQ/Diploma Level 2. You will need to be employed in the industry.

Assessment

NVQ Candidates collect evidence from the workplace to build a portfolio, and assessment includes workplace observations with practical skills measured against recognised industry standards. Assessment of the underpinning knowledge is by written assignments, oral questioning and external examination.
