This apprenticeship is suitable for you if you want to start a career or develop your existing skills in hospitality. As a hospitality apprentice you may work in any area or department in the hospitality industry such as restaurants, bars, reception or housekeeping.

All training on this apprenticeship is delivered either in the workplace or at college, on a day release basis.
A hospitality apprenticeship develops the skills and knowledge needed to be an effective employee within the sector. Your learning is based around how a variety of hospitality services function, including skills such as serving customers, preparing and cooking food, serving drinks, reception, cleaning and preparing rooms.
This Apprenticeship is ideal for developing skills and knowledge whilst working within the fast-paced world of hospitality. This qualification offers the unique opportunity to earn and learn in this sector. Real work experience, which is personalised to each student’s aspirations and interests, is integrated into the programme.

As an apprentice you can expect to undertake work based learning with an employer and to be paid a wage. The apprenticeship will include an NVQ diploma, functional skills and knowledge based element or technical certificate.
