Electrotechnical City & Guilds 2365-02 Level 2 Diploma at Doncaster College
This course is suitable for students who are not employed but seeking to gain employment within both the commercial or industrial electrical building services sectors.
The course is a one year course, offered on a full-time two and a half day a week basis of 7 hours a day over 32 weeks.
Electrical Installations Technology (mainly theory based)
- Principles of Electrical Science (theory based training and assessment)
- Installing of Wiring Systems and enclosures (practical and theory training and assessment)
- Health and Safety in Building Services Engineering (practical & theory training and assessment)
- Understand how to communicate with others within the Building Services Engineering.
Applicants should possess GCSE’s at grade C or above in Maths and English. Alternatively mature students must have the ability to achieve Level 2 in a College Assessment.
To be awarded the 2365-02 diploma, candidates must successfully complete 5 modules which will be assessed via a combination of practical assessments, and online multi choice tests.
Successful candidates can progress onto the Level 3 2365 Diploma in Electrical Installations.
This qualification is a progression towards becoming a qualified electrician within the Electrical Contracting Industry.
