Psychology AS/A2 at Haringey Sixth Form Centre
You will study:
- Research methods in Psychology to include observations, self reports, experiments and correlations
- You will develop an understanding of different areas of psychology such as cognition, development, social and individual differences
- You will specialise in Forensic Psychology and Health and Clinical Psychology in the second year
5 GCSE grade A* – C in relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics. One of your relevant subjects should be a B grade. A grade D in Science at GCSE is also desirable. Please note, a BTEC First qualification counts as equivalent to 2 GCSEs. Only one BTEC First can count towards the 5 GCSE equivalence required.
Where it leads:
You can progress to university to study a related degree in areas such as social work, counselling or clinical education.
