Plumbing Diploma Level 2 at Canterbury College

Course description

Following on from the Level 1 qualifi cation, you will learn how to deal with leaking pipes, water systems and drainage.

Course content

The Certificate in Plumbing covers a number of subjects including health and safety at work, working safely in a plumbing team, installations, materials, storage and handling, maintaining pipe systems and components, hot and cold water, central heating, sanitation, pipe systems and components installation and testing.

Entry requirements

You should have a Level 1 Building qualification, 4 GCSEs at D (including English and Maths at C) or an equivalent qualifi cation. Subject to interview.

Assessment

Students will be assessed by a mixture of practical activities and multiple-choice examinations.

Future opportunities

You can progress onto the Level 3 qualifications in Building and Construction.

Further information

Students are expected to complete 34 hours of work experience.
