Site Joinery Level 3 at Harrogate College
This course will focus on Site Carpentry, developing the skills from Level 2 to a more advanced level.
This course will allow you to concentrate on the skills necessary for structural carpentry such as traditional roofs, trussed roofs, dormer windows etc.
You will cover the full range of topics and tasks laid down by the awarding body in response to industry requirements. An emphasis is also placed on maintenance work, kitchen fitting and the safe use of woodworking machinery.

• Carcassing carpentry
• Site admin procedures, communication
• Estimating and planning
GCSE Maths & English at grade C or above or a willingness to work towards achieving this, or Site Carpentry Level 2 qualification or relevant work experience
Assessment takes place throughout the year, with a mix of practical tasks, written test and online multiple choice exams.
Successful completion will allow students to seek employment in the woodwork industry, progress to an advanced Apprenticeship or continue in building management studies.
