Course description

Psychology is the scientific study of behaviour and mental processes. Much of psychology is spent trying to explain why we behave the way we do and if the reasons for this are learnt or inherited. The course includes a section on biology as it's important to understand how the body works, especially the brain and our adrenal systems. You will be required to discuss how certain key research studies have influenced our understanding of issues such as memory, attachment, obedience and eating disorders. The course covers five key areas of psychology and also investigates the methodology and reportage of psychological investigations
