Engineering - Mechanical City & Guilds 2800 Certificate Level 3 at Gloucestershire College

Course description

The Engineering (Mechanical) C&G 2850 Certificate in Engineering course will advance your skills in operating manual and CNC mills and lathes.

You will also study engineering mathematics to prepare you for higher education or the world of work.

Entry requirements

To apply you will need to have 4-5 GCSE's at A* to C Grade including English and Maths.To apply you will need at least a Grade D in Science. You will also be invited for an interview with one of our tutors.

Financial information

A materials fee is levied to cover the high cost of materials.

Future opportunities

Progress to Higher National Certificate.

Please note it may be a requirement of progression that you undertake the Bridging Maths evening course.

Further information

You will be provided with a labcoat and set of tools.

Students are required to wear safety boots when in the bookshop.
