Music at Plume College

Course description

This course provides an exciting opportunity for students to extend the skills, knowledge and understanding needed to communicate through music and to take part in music. This course allows students to engage in, and extend their appreciation of, the diverse and dynamic heritage of music, promoting spiritual and cultural development. It will develop particular strengths and interests encouraging life-long learning and providing access to music-related and other careers.

Entry requirements

GCSE grade C in Music, Grade 3 standard ABRSM Theory, grade 5 standard ABRSM instrumental or equivalent music examination. There will be a pre-course musicianship exam as part of the Guidance Discussion/audition process. Students must successfully complete an audition.
