Diploma in Administration (Business Professional) - Level 2 at The Crest Academies

Course description

 

This qualification recognizes learners' understanding of administrative functions and activities. It accredits learners' abilities to carry out a range of administrative tasks autonomously and has been designed to accredit their achievements in a modern, practical way that is relevant to the work context.

Skills and understanding achieved through the successful completion of this course, at a Diploma level will equip students to move on to level 3 courses.

 

Course content

Examples of units include – working in administration, written business communication, career planning, teamwork, handling mail and making and receiving calls.

Entry requirements

 

D/E grades at GCSE level from Year 11.Successful completion of a Level 1 course at Merit level or above

Students will also have the opportunity to retake GCSE Mathematics and GCSE English alongside this course.

Assessment

Students are required to submit 11 pieces of portfolio assessed work at a PASS level to be awarded the Level 2 Diploma in Administration (Business Professional) – all portfolios are externally examined.

Future opportunities

Successful completion at Diploma level, with English & Mathematics GCSE at grade C or above allows students to progress on to Level 3 courses.
