Chemistry at Haybridge High School and Sixth Form

Course description

Chemistry is a challenging and stimulating subject. It has played a major role in improving living standards and is one of the most successful industries in the UK. In most cases, Chemistry is an essential subject for Medicine, Dentistry, Veterinary Science and some Biological Sciences.

Entry requirements

Two GCSE Science grades at A*- B AND GCSE Maths grade A*- C OR GCSE Chemistry grade A*- B GCSE Maths grade A*- C Our advice is that BTEC or GCSE Applied Science is not suitable preparation for AS/A2 Chemistry. Students who are currently studying GCSE Applied Science and wish to study AS/A2 Chemistry should contact Mr McQuillan (Director of Sixth Form).
