Drama at Hereford Academy

Course description

At KS4 we offer BTEC Performing Arts and GCSE Drama, both are extremely practical and allow students to explore sound, lighting, costume and make-up as well as gaining an understanding of the industry as a whole.

HOW WE DO IT AT THE HEREFORD ACADEMY

We are very passionate about performing and with a new state of the art performing space and studio there really is no better place to put on large scale performanceS. Apart from the designated class time, we offer a range of extra-curricular activities for students to get involved in, where they can enhance and home their skills further whatever they enjoy doing be it film making, acting, singing or front or technical engineering.

Entry requirements

Level 3

5 GCSEs grade A* - C or equivalent (BTEC/ OCR/ NVQ)

For some courses you will be required to undertake the enhanced

Criminal Record Bureau (CRB) checks and references will be requested

for ALL applicants.
