Art AS/A-Level at Walthamstow Academy

Course description

Walthamstow Academy has a thriving Art department that aims to challenge and stretch the students as artists. Art is a powerful tool that helps the students become aware of the world they live in, whilst nurturing cultural awareness and creativity.

Art A Level allows the student to engage in a wide variety of techniques and processes. The Art Room is equipped with facilities to do etching, screen printing, relief printing and ceramics, as well as drawing, painting and 3D sculpture work. In addition, our open plan space gives the immediate feel of studying in a college environment.
