Health and Social Care (Adults) Level 3 at ACA Institute

Course description

This qualiļ¬cation develops the knowledge and skills needed when working in a senior role with adults in health and social care environments. It covers a wide range of areas including supporting individuals with their physical and emotional care, daily living needs and health care procedures.

It has three pathways:

  • Generic Health and Social Care
  • Dementia
  • Learning Disability

It is also a must-have for all those undertaking the Level 3 Health and Social Care Apprenticeship.

Entry requirements

You should be at least 16 years old and in employment relevant to this qualification.

Assessment

It will be assessed by your tutor or assessor using a range of methods. This could include direct observation in the workplace, a portfolio of evidence, written assignments.
