Classic Civilisation A-Level at New Rickstones Academy

Course description

You will be given the opportunity to study elements of the literature, history and archaeology of the classical world through the study of classical sources in their contexts. You will acquire, in the process, some understanding of the culture, politics and social life of Greece and Rome at significant periods in their history. This will then be developed and extended in lessons through debates, discussions, forums and presentations. You will be expected to be critical, evaluative, analytical and show independence of thought.
