Motor Vehicle Intermediate Apprenticeship at Weymouth College

Course description

2 year programme with 1 day a week at College Apprenticeships are designed by employers for employers and are tailored to meet the needs of each specific sector. An apprenticeship will allow you to get qualified, get paid and get a career all in one go!

Course content

• Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Competence Level 2 (QCF) or • Diploma in Motorcycle Maintenance and Repair Competence Level 2 (QCF) • Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Principles Level 2 (QCF) or • Diploma in Motorcycle Maintenance and Repair Principles Level 2 (QCF) • Functional Skills in Maths, English and ICT Level 1 • Employer rights and responsibilities.

Entry requirements

Placement in Motor Vehicle setting and interview with support officer A good understanding of motor vehicles/cycles and a keen interest in learning

Assessment

You will be assessed in the work place by the support officer for motor vehicle.
