Brickwork Level 3 Diploma at Hull College Group

Course description

With support of specialist brickwork staff, working in an outstanding, modern and well-equipped workshop, you will develop your trowel skills to construct complex masonry structures.

Course content

  • Construct Chimneys and Fireplace Structures
  • Battered and Curved Ramp Construction
  • Axed Arches
  • Repair and Maintain Masonry Structures
  • Maths and English

Entry requirements

LeveStudents should have completed Level 2 Diploma or equivalent level of training. Students require a Level 2 qualification in the subject area and need to successfully complete a competency assessment to enrol on the course.l 2 Diploma Brickwork

Assessment

70% Practical and 30% Theory.

Financial information

Students will also be required to purchase a Hull College polo shirt for the course (approx. £8). Information regarding this will be provided at interview.

Future opportunities

Successful completion will allow progression on to a HNC or HND in Construction.

Further information

Safety footwear must be worn in all workshops.  We do not allow the use of safety trainers except in painting and decorating where this is appropriate.
