Course content

Subject specific revision tips:

Make a revision timetable - and set aside a day to revise a topic and a later day to review it.

Use your time effectively and spread your revision out in a suitable and practical time frame, to avoid leaving it all until the last moment.

Always make revision notes, mind maps or cards as you go - you will remember more and have a ready made revision guide of key facts to read through just before the exam.

Make the best use of exam past papers and the mark scheme, to ensure you are aware and prepared for the requirements of each answer.

Keep on top of coursework. Aim to hand coursework in before the deadline to get feedback on it.

Entry requirements

Entry into our 6th Form is based upon gaining a minimum of 5 A* - C at GCSE including at least a grade C in English and/or maths. BTEC courses will be taken into account in support of the 5 A*-C at GCSE. The minimum average points score for all subjects for entry into the 6th Form is 39.
