Spanish at Notre Dame High School

Course description

In today’s world, speaking a foreign language is becoming increasingly important. It is widely recognised that Spanish, given tourist links with Spain and the expanding business markets in Latin America, is one of the most valuable and useful of second languages.

This course will benefit both those wishing to study languages or those wishing to have a language to support other areas of study. The exam board will be WJEC.

The AS course improves your linguistic skills by looking at various topics from modern-day Spanish culture and society. The A2 course also includes literature and film studies.

Independent study is essential to the course. A wide range of self-study resources are available in school and also online.

Notre Dame’s language results are consistently among the best nationally – be part of that success!
