Modern Foreign Languages AS/A2 at Ilford County High School
Students will study four chosen general topic areas related to youth concerns, education, health issues and lifestyles and the world around us with a cultural aspect of the target language country. In year 13, in depth study of the above topics plus Arts and Literature and Law and Order.
Students must achieve at least eight GCSE qualifications with an average grade point score of B (6 points) or higher 2. At least six of the GCSE qualifications must be at grade B or higher 3. Students must achieve GCSE English and GCSE Mathematics at Grade B or higher 4. All eight GCSE must have been completed after May of the last academic year (i.e. In the last 16 months) 5. Some courses have individual entry requirements. These are published in the Sixth Form Prospectus. Students must meet course entry requirements to study these particular courses.
